On Friday, November 6th, all UGMS parents, grandparents, guardians, volunteers and staff, who have served and currently serving, are invited to a free pancake breakfast at 8:30am. There will be fresh fruit, breakfast bars & snacks, coffee and juice. Pancake choices are buttermilk and blueberry. We will have turkey sausage.
Our UGMS Orchestra will be performing.
We will also have Veteran- focused non profit agencies available during the event.

Tomorrow Night is the Monster Orchestra Concert, 6pm at Union Grove Middle School Cafeteria. We will see you there!
Every Friday, parents and guardians who are currently serving or have served in the military are invited to have lunch with their child.
Bring lunch to share with the student or bring cash to purchase meals in the cafeteria.
Each military guest will receive a small gift of our appreciation. Thank you for serving our country.

The 7th grade UGMS volleyball teams played against the Charles Patterson Cavaliers in their last match of the season. The Grizzlies showed great hustle and teamwork throughout each set and gave it their all.
The B Team beat the Cavaliers in two sets: 25-22 and 25-22. The ladies played with heart and had great attitudes. They demonstrated great teamwork to pull out the victory. Keelyn Anderson, Olivia China, Isabella Zeinart, Elizabeth Fields, and Giada Martinez were beasts at the net. Rosalee Conner and Mia Hernandez were defensive standout. Outstanding setters were Jaziel Cerda and Zaleia Pointdexter. Top server for the match was Jaziel Cerda with seven points. Rosalee Conner served six points. Zaleia Pointdexter scored five points. Elizabeth Fields made three. Keelyn Anderson contributed one point.
B team ends their regular season with a 4-3 record. It has been a pleasure to be your coach this year. You improved with every match of the season.

A team ends their regular season with a 6-1 record. Coach Wilson is very proud of you and how your caliber of play has gotten better with every match. A team will play in the district tournament later this week.

We are asking for laundry items, such as detergent, fabric softener (liquids & beads), and dryer sheets, including for sensitive skin.
We are also asking for brand new underwear, undershirts & tanks and socks in adult sizes (XS to XXL). These must be tagged and/or packaged for hygienic reasons.
All donations stay in our school, for our students and their families.
Students that donate items will go into a drawing for weekly prizes and a big prize after the donation drive is finished.
Students that donate:
2 - 3 packaged/ticketed or laundry items: 1 ticket
4 - 5 packaged/ticketed or laundry items: 2 tickets
6 or more packaged/ticketed or laundry items: 3 tickets
